P4 have been busy estimating, then measuring, distances around the school using the metre trundle.
On Wednesday 27th March, pupils entered Craigavon Baptist Church for a wonderful exploration of the New Testament. They met with some of the Disciples, with Mary and with a Roman soldier. Some children even tried food from Jesus' time.
The children have been working on their presentation skills.
World Book Day
Drumgor Primary celebrated World Book Day on Friday 8th March. Pupils got to dress up as their favourite book characters. In P4, pupils did some fun reading activities for their class novel, 'Danny the Champion of the World.'
On Tuesday 5th March, P4s followed instructions to make some pancakes. They then ate them after lunch. Yum!
World War Two Assembly
On Friday 1st February, P4 entertained pupils and parents with their drama based on the Second World War. All the actors and actresses were fantastic.
P4s have been learning about instructional writing. They had the opportunity to play games while following their instructions, before they make up their own board games.
P4s have gone back in time, to 1941. They put themselves in the role of children evacuated from Belfast before writing letters home.
The children tallied the number of siblings each pupil had, from surveying the class. This data was then put onto block graphs.
