Joe Wicks is offering a free PE lesson every morning at 9am on his YouTube channel. Why not join in? Great for all ages so everyone can join in. I loved receiving this video to see how some of you are already keeping up with our PE days in school!

Smarties Challenge! Last week both Brandon and Leyland received prizes in our class.

Brandon received a Smartie Easter Egg for filling being our Faster Filler of his Smartie tube and Leyland received an Easter Activity book for collecting the most 20p coins.

Well done boys!

Success in P1/2 B...last week 3 pupils from our class received Easter eggs for making it into the Term 2 Top Ten for Mathletics!

I wonder who will earn the most next term as we work from home?

Pancake Day! We had lots of pancake fun today, making pancakes, choosing our favourite toppings, reading The Runaway Pancake and working in The Pancake Parlour game.

Debutots and Blue Daisy visited our class today as part of Children's Mental Health Week. We listened and took turns to join in with a story about how different emotions can make us feel and behave, and about how being brave and talking to a grown up can help.

P1/2B are enjoying P7McCu coming to visit us each Friday for Buddy Reading. This helps to develop our listening skills as we sit alongside an older pupil who reads to us. It encourages us to handle books carefully and to follow written word. Maybe some of us will be able to read to the P7s soon!!!

Santa Claus is coming to town! We had a great day on our trip to the Navan Centre. We watched a short panto and made a Christmas craft. We then ventured outdoors to visit Mrs Claus and Santa in their magical grotto were we each got to sit beside Santa and get a photo and a present. Then back indoors we went for a snack and story before lunch! We had a fantastic day and thankfully we are all on Santa’s nice list!!

Party Planners! We have been learning about different Celebrations. To finish our topic we decided to plan a party together, we made a list of everything we needed. We wrote invitations for Mrs McKeown and Mrs Martin, we decorated party crowns and made chocolate buns. Then there was only one thing left to do...Party time!!

We celebrated 'Children in Need' by having a spotty themed non uniform day. We had a Pudsey colouring competition and our school raised an impressive £352 for a very worthy cause.

Halloween fun in P1/2! Mrs Brown was so impressed by all our scary costumes!

This week our school celebrated Maths week and today we had a special assembly to reward those with the highest points in Mathletics. We were so happy to hear our class was the highest scoring class in the Foundation Stage and to celebrate we got juice and biscuits as a special well done which we enjoyed during Golden Time. What a treat for a Friday!!

Sone pictures of the activities we have been working on in class over the past couple of weeks.

Superheroes!!! We have loved our Superhero theme in school with lots of fun activities druing play.

Healthy Snack! We all look forward to our healthy snacks every day!

We have great fun in our Healthy Kids PE sessions every Thursday. Poor Mrs Brown struggled to take good photos as we were moving so fast!

Our P1s made the newspaper. Don't we all look so smart in our school uniform!

We went on a lovely Autumn walk today. We collected lots of colourful leaves and twigs which we then were able to look at more closely during play.

Our first days in P1/2! We have been having great fun playing and getting to know each other in our class.
