C&J’s Animal Park brought a variety of animals to Nursery. The children enjoyed seeing them and some were very brave indeed!
It was the perfect weather for a trip to the park.
Helping Hands topic. The children learned about people who help us in school and in the community. They found out about refuse collectors, postmen, opticians and dentists. They visited the secretary and cook to find out about what they do. They also had visits from the Fire service, a nurse and the Police who told them about responding to emergencies. This led to fabulous role play and lots of other fun activities.
Dr Deborah Webster from Thrive Academy conducted a parents’ information session in Nursery on Screen time and Well-being. This was followed by Stay and Play, when parents found out more about what their children do in Nursery.

🎶 ‘It’s the most wonderful time of the year’, especially in Nursery! 🎄
There have been lots of visitors to Nursery - Toddletes, Splash Surestart and Debutots. The children have enjoyed exercising, singing rhymes, and stories and drama.
