Meet Our Class

Wold book day 📚 

We celebrated world book day by dressing up as our favourite book characters. We also had a ‘no pens day’ so we spent the day taking part in lots of role play and discussion activities 🗣

Pancake Tuesday 🥞 

We made pancakes today to celebrate Pancake Tuesday. They were absolutely delicious! 😋 

Mathematics 

This term we have been exploring different traditional tales during our literacy. This week we have focused on the story ‘Jack and the beanstalk’. Today we used non standard (magic beans) and rulers to measure the length of the characters footprints. We also explored weight by weighing items in the room that were heavier/lighter/the same as the magic beans!

Christmas celebrations 🎅🏼🎄

We had a hot chocolate party with lots of sweet treats and games to celebrate Christmas.

Christmas school trip

We went on a really fun school trip to the cinema to watch Matilda the musical 🎵 

ICT

We are really enjoying our time in the computer suite. This week, we learned to access our Google Drive through our MySchool account. We also learned how to word process on Google Docs. 

Happy Halloween 🎃 👻 

we had a really fun day dressing up and playing lots of Halloween themed games. We learnt a dance to ‘thriller’ and carved some pumpkins. Miss Stevenson also made us a spooky snack! 

European Day of Languages

We had a lot of fun learning about languages. We discovered that 7 different languages are spoken within our classroom! We learned to say hello in all 7 languages, then went to visit the primacy 7 class to show them our skills 🤩 

MacMillan Charity Day

We enjoyed an extra special yummy snack and raised lots of money for a very worthy charity. 🧁🍬🍫

Student Councillors

Meet our two Primary 4 class reps for the Student Council. They will represent their class at meetings and share ideas on how to make our school a better place.
