  • Hallowe'en fancy dress

    Fri 23 Oct 2015

On Friday 23rd October, all the boys and girls came to school in fancy dress. It was great to see such an array of costumes, ranging from the quite scary to the very funny. During the whole school assembly Mr Flack reminded us that God looks inside our hearts, not at our outward appearance. He also gave out prizes for the book fair colouring-in competition.

We hope all of our pupils and their families have an enjoyable and a safe half-term break.

  • School Council introduced

    Thu 22 Oct 2015

In early October, each class from P4-P7 elected two representatives to the School Council. The votes were based on their manifestos, which outlined what they would do if they were elected. At the Council's first meeting, they elected the chairperson and deputy chairperson, the treasurer and the secretary.

On Thursday 15th October, Mr Flack welcomed the School Councillors in front of our assembly.

Well done to Morgan (Chairperson), Tylar (Deputy Chairperson), Daisie (Secretary), Charlie (Treasurer), as well as Dean, Lilian, Robbie, Tyler, Hollie, Alfie and Emma.

  • Hallowe'en safety assembly

    Thu 22 Oct 2015
On Thursday 22nd October- just before we got off for half-term- Constables Gary and Craig came into assembly to talk about keeping safe over the Hallowe'en period. We were shown how to use sparklers properly, we were shown what we aren't allowed to use, and we were told about being safe and sensible when 'trick or treating'. We all enjoyed listening to this important message.
