Check out our articles for some information on what we have been getting up to this year.
We had a busy last week before our half-term break. On Tuesday 25th, Friends of Drumgor hosted a Hallowe'en party for P1-3s and a disco for P4-7s. On Friday 28th we had our third and final morning Walking Bus from Parkmore, where boys and girls journeyed to school in fancy dress. Our fancy dress day also raised a total of £372 for the Southern Area hospice. Please see the Gallery for photographs.
Thank you also to everyone who visited and purchased from the travelling book fair. Below is a photograph of the children who won the Fair's art competition.
On Thursday 20th October, local police constables Gary and Ryan, came into assembly to talk to us about keeping safe over the Hallowe'en break. Constable Gary hoped that everyone would be sensible while trick or treating, handling sparklers and watching fireworks displays.
Thanks Constable Gary and Constable Ryan.
On Friday 14th October, the boys football team entered the Mid-Ulster football festival, held on our very own 3G ground. The boys played 4 games in their group, winning 3. They then won their semi-final tie 1-0, before facing Bleary in the final. The boys had a superb team performance for this, winning 3-0 and thus being crowned champions.
Thank you staff and parents who came out to support (despite the rain!).
Well done boys.
On Friday 14th October, we held the first of our three 'Walking Buses' in October. Thank you to everybody- parents, pupils and staff- who took part.
Same time and place next Friday (leaving the MUGA in Parkmore at 8:35am).
