P6/7 Library Visit.

Last week we enjoyed our first visit to Brownlow Library. We all renewed our library cards so now  we are ready to borrow books.

Stephanie explained to us how all the books were in alphabetical order and today we focused on Fiction. There were so many to choose from. Can't wait to start reading!

We are all enjoying our new topic 'The Victorians' We got to make a Victoria sandwich and look at how the baking powder produced a gas, Carbon Dioxide, that made our cakes rise. They were so delicious!

"An Amazing Journey" We all had a great afternoon in Craigavon Baptist Church learning about the Bible stories.

Draught Champions, Simon, JJ and Lee. All from P6/7McC. Well done boys!

Happy New Year and welcome back to school everyone!

I must say P6/7 have come back relaxed, full of enthusiasm and ready to work hard. I hope you all received our class newsletter which had lots of information about the spring term. Today , Friday 13th, the after school clubs list was given out. Please return the reply slips on Monday 16th.

After the excitement of our Christmas play we had our Christmas Fair to look forward to. We had great fun making our hot chocolate reindeers. Merry Christmas.

Rachel, from Smokebusters at Cancer Research visited our school today as part of our topic. We learned a lot about the dangers of smoking. We enjoyed the role play and singing the rap.

We were flying high with Mr Patterson's birds on Thursday.

Halloween fun day was great fun ...Boo!
