Our History

Drumgor Primary School was built in 1972 in the centre of the newly established town of Craigavon. It was named after the townland on which it was built. Historically the school has enrolled numerous pupils from different countries.

Drumgor Primary and Nursery Unit currently has over 300 pupils in two Nursery and twelve mainstream classes.

We have fantastic facilities and resources for the children to utilise and enhance their educational experiences. We have a well resources library with dedicated accelerated reading book area and a computer suite for children to develop their ICT skills.

We are fortunate to have a full sized 3G pitch on site and a PE hall separate from our dining hall.

Our Nursery classes have access to an outdoor play area with large enclosed sandpit, covered resource area and willow hut. Primary 1 have a well resourced outdoor play area which are accessible from the classrooms.

Drumgor Primary School is a short walk from the South Lakes Leisure Centre and Brownlow Library.
