Living things in Northern Ireland

 

Now in term 3 we would be learning all about plants and animals which live in Northern Ireland.

I am giving you the outline so your child can explore this area on their own. Encourage them to use Bitesize for excellent videos. They could write even their own animal stories!

I will still provide weekly suggestions!

  • Animal groups ( fish / reptiles/ mammals/ birds/ amphibians etc
  • Wild animals living in Northern Ireland
  • Which animals are wild / tame / farm?
  • Which foods come from which animals.
  • Names of animal young, homes and gender
  • The story of milk.
  • Life on a farm.
