We we’re so lucky to see and hold real gas masks, ration books, photographs and other special artefacts from World War 2
Individual AR Targets
Congratulations to all those who have reached their target.
AR Target 🎯 check!
P4 have worked incredibly hard this term with AR. Their preferred choice of treat for reaching the class target was a hot chocolate and donut party. It went down a treat!

Earth Day 2021 🌍
Our class took part in various Earth Day activities. We made posters, turned off lights and computers when they weren’t in use and planted sunflower seeds. One girl in our class went out around her local area at home and collected a big bag of litter!

Christmas Art
NewsDesk Pupil of the Month
A first in Drumgor PS history. This brilliant boy was awarded C2k NewsDesk pupil of the month. He spent 4 weeks writing a very moving article about the experience of Covid 19 through the eyes of a child. Absolutely fantastic- well done and fully deserved!
Christmas 2020
Chistmas fun started early in P4Q. We had a great time decorating the tree. Christmas art is well under way also.
Selfie success
Our pupils love getting a ‘selfie’ with our new gold Mathletics award selfie board!
Following instructions: Hopscotch
In literacy we are learning about following instructions. We were given instructions on how to draw and play Hopscotch. We had great fun playing together.

Wow Work
Over the Halloween break, these two fantastic boys brought a character to life and wrote and illustrated a fantastic story!
They even made up a quiz at the end, to emulate our Accelerated Reader programme. Well done boys!
Halloween 2020
It is great to see P4Q having fun at home during the mid-term extended break
Accelerated Reader
P4Q are really enjoying the AR programme and our efforts have been rewarded by a number of pupils getting a ‘lucky dip’ from our newly formed treasure chest. A number of golden tickets were pulled out revealing fabulous prizes. Well done everyone!
Maths Week 2020
P4Q really enjoyed maths week. They took part in daily maths challenges, enjoyed ‘sandwich sums’ at snack time and learned about rounding.
They also brought their Learning outdoors and used nature to draw symmetrical autumn leaves, then used these leaves to make a giant bar chart.
Their best achievement of the week however, was coming 4th in the UK for Mathletics
Mathletics Winners
The top three points scorers this week were awarded their favourite sweets as a treat!
Our Book Fair Colouring Competition Winner
Election Day
Today we ‘pitched’ our manifestos. Mrs Quinn commended us because we were all so brave and we spoke so well and had brilliant ideas.
Afterwards we got to vote for a boy and girl to represent us on the School Council.
Numeracy- Place Value
In primary 4 we are learning about place value. We enjoy using the Base 10 equipment to help us learn this new concept.
The Dot (by Peter Reynolds)
Just like Vashti, we discovered the right way to make a dot: our way. In fact, we created some marvellous pieces of art from our ‘dot’. These are currently on display in our class corridor.
