Who owns Teddy?
P2 found a Teddy Bear hiding in their cave. They made posters and displayed them around school to help return him to his owner. Thankfully Mrs Martin read our poster and phoned our class to tell us that the bear belonged to her. Teddy was very happy to be returned to Mrs Martin. P2 will be sad to see him leave.
P2 Authors!!
As part of our Bear topic, we learned lots of facts and information about bears. We then wrote our own information books. We went down to the Primary 7 classes to read them our information books and teach them about bears. It was a great experience! We all got lots of praise and a sticker.

A huge thank you to all our parents for supporting your child in the use of Mathletics at home. It is a fantastic programme designed to improve basic Maths Skills. In class the children love to compete with other children from Canada, England, Holland, America and South Africa!

Houses and Homes
Our topic is great fun this term. We are building houses at construction and acting the drama of the 3 Little Pigs at Small World. We also planned, worked together and made houses from junk materials. We discussed the different types of houses and were presented with flats, a bungalow, a semi detached house and a detached house...as well as a magic fairy house!
Children in Need.
We had a non uniform day for Children in Need. We brought our donation in and gave it to Pudsey. After assembly, we played Pudsey games on the Interactive Whiteboard and made a Pudsey picture to take home. Our school raised lots of money!!!
