The School Council is an elected group of pupils from P4-7 who meet regularly to discuss how we can continue to improve our school for everyone. They take suggestions from their classmates before each meeting, then share any new ideas with them after meetings.
Ideas brought forward in the past few years have included: having a fruit tuckshop, having 'Milkshake Mondays' in the canteen, having a non-uniform day for Children in Need, training P1-3s on keeping the playground equipment tidy, having active travel posters placed around the school and writing letters to the council about potholes around school.
In September and February the P4-7 boys and girls created and read 'manifestos' saying what they would like to do to help improve our school. They then voted for two pupils from each class to represent them on the School Council.
