Miss Hughes

Today we enjoyed a trip to Tannaghmore Gardens. We loved going on the bus and climbing up the climbing frame to use the big slide!

During this week we have been learning all about how Doctors and Nurses can help us if we are sick. Today we had a special visitor from a local midwife. She told us how she looks after babies and showed us lots of things that she uses in the hospital. Thank you to Nurse Roweena for her visit.

We have enjoyed longer outside enjoying the sun!

Our new topic is People Who Help Us. This week we focused on the Police and have enjoyed dressing up and learning about how the Police can keep us safe. Today we had a special visit from the Police and we got to try on some of their uniform and see inside their car. We also saw the blue lights and heard the very noisy sirens!

As we finish for the Easter holidays, we enjoyed an Easter egg hunt. The children were so excited to find their eggs and we enjoyed them outside in the sun!

Today for World Book Day we enjoyed seeing all the children dressed up as their favourite characters! We joined the rest of the school on the playground to see everyone dressed up and after lunch we walked around the school to see all the classroom doors decorated. We were very impressed by all the hard work!

Today we enjoyed Pancake Tuesday. We had delicious pancakes for our snack with some chocolate spread and fruit.

We have been busy during the month of December learning all about Christmas.

Today we had some special visitors in Nursery. All the children were very excited to get a gift!

Thank you to our kitchen staff who made us a lovely Christmas dinner! We really enjoyed it!

Early days in Nursery! We have enjoyed getting to know our routines and making new friends. We have been learning all about ourselves and have started our new 'Autumn' topic.
