Literacy
We read the story “Spring Fever” and discussed signs of spring. We then went outside to find signs of spring.
Our caterpillars have arrived and we can’t wait to watch their life cycle.
Our topic is Literacy is all about life cycles. We looked the frog and butterfly life cycles and we were able to order the both, add captions and labels.
World Book Day 2025
On Pancake Tuesday we had great fun weighing out the ingredients for our pancakes, cooking them and most importantly eating them. They were yummy 😋
We started Primary 4 off by reading “The Colour Monster”. We focussed on all the different emotions we have and how we can deal with different situations we find ourselves in. This gave us inspiration to design and write about our own Mood Monsters.
We looked at common and proper nouns and worked in groups to think of all the different people, places and things we could.
Primary 4 were looking at Instructions and why we need instructions to be in the correct order. We had great fun writing instructions for playing Hopscotch and then following our instructions. Best of all we got to play on our own Hopscotch grid.
