During our Garden topic we have enjoyed planting potatoes and keeping them watered, planting cress and watching it grow quickly and searching for bugs and insects in the nursery garden using magnifying glasses.
We have been enjoying the good weather and getting outside for longer each day! We were very excited on Thursday when Messy Play delivered some new equipment for outside!
Today we had a special visit from C&J Animal Park to finish off our Animals topic. We got to see snakes, giant hampsters, a stick insect, a tortoise, a rabbit, gecko, bearded dragon and much more. The children were very brave and really enjoyed the visit.

This morning we were all so excited to play in the snow. We made sure to wear clothing which would keep us warm.
Today we had some special visitors in our class! 🎅🏼🧑🏼🎄🎄
We have been busy coming up to Christmas doing lots of fun things in the classroom!
We have been settling into Nursery and starting to make friends. We have been learning all about ourselves, families and homes as well as Autumn. We have went on an Autumn walk and carved our pumpkin for Hallowe’en.
