π Christmas Crafts π
πΌ
Here are a selection of Christmas activities we have going on in our class this year as we build up to Christmas 2025.
π Time π
We have been learning to tell the time. We drew our own clocks on the playground and had to find the correct time.
π Happy Birthday Paddington π
Before half term we had a very special birthday party. We planned and organised a birthday party for Paddington. What a fantastic day.
ππ Autumn Walk ππ
We walked over 2km around our local area and found lots of lovely Autumn treats.
We’re Going On A Phonics Hunt
We love getting outdoors to learn. Today we split into smaller groups and walked around the school looking for items containing our focus sounds. The adults were impressed with words such as ‘manhole’ , ‘rake’ and ‘rubbish bin’.
World Mental Health Day
One activity we looked at this week was using the iPads to relax and colour a lovely illustration by Charlie Mackesy. We loved exploring Seesaw tools to add our own touches to create a masterpiece. I’m sure you’ll agree they are fabulous. π¨π΄
Preparing for a very special birthday π₯³
During ABL we are working together to plan, prepare and organise a special birthday party for Paddington bear. We are designing invitations, making birthday cards, organising presents and planning a very special day.
π₯ͺ Marmalade Sandwiches π₯ͺ
Just like Paddington we made our very own marmalade sandwiches. We learned how to write instructions and then followed these instructions.
September Mathletes
Congratulations to all of our September certificate winners ββπ°
π¨ Sensory Room π§
We visited the sensory room for a relation and breathing session. We all felt really calm afterwards and look forward to our next visit.
Just2Easy
We are enjoying logging in to and exploring the ‘paint’ and ‘write’ app on Just2Easy.
Syllables
We had fun working together and investigating syllables. Mrs Quinn loved the ‘randomness’ of some of our words π
β½οΈ Footballs for Everyone β½οΈ
A very generous donation of footballs from one of our families, meant we could give a football to every class from P3-7.
