In WAU P6 have been learning about Carbon Dioxide and its impact on our environment. Today they watched a chemical reaction between baking soda and vinegar. They observed a balloon inflating because of CO2 being produced.

Our third Shared Education session involved coding with micro:bits and colouring individual Calm Monsters.
Healthy Heart
Laurence visited school today to explain the importance of a healthy heart. Everyone enjoyed some physical activity.
Numeracy - data handling
Today we counted the number of each colour in a Smarties tube. We created a tally chart and a frequency table. This data was used to create a bar chart.
Made For More
Made for More lead a workshop on self esteem. The children played games and learnt how they can build up their own self esteem and that of others. They also learnt how easy it is to loose their self esteem or how they could be responsible for impacting someone else’s.
