  • Science & Technology Challenge 2013

    On Friday 24 May three pupils travelled to Dungannon TC to represent Drumgor PS in a local heat of The Primary Science & Technology Challenge 2013. The team were super and worked confidently together to complete their design challenge and were complimented on their excellent behaviour and manners- Well Done!
  • Fun Night 2013

    Even though the evening was blustery and cold, it didn't stop the boys and girls have lots of fun and laughs at our Fun Night on Thursday 23 May! Many thanks to everyone who came along on the night or bought a raffle ticket-you made the evening a success-despite the weather! Our thanks also go to our Friends of Drumgor Group who organised the evening and to all the staff who lent a hand on the night.

  • Shelbourne Rugby Blitz

    Our Rugby squad had their first experiences of contact rugby this year at a fun tournament held at Chambers Park, Portadown. The team played with gusto and returned to school mucky but full of enthusiasm for the sport! The boys are receiving coaching sessions from Jonny Gillespie, Community Rugby Officer, IRFU, Ulster Branch and from Darren Pepper, PRFC in preparation for their involvement in the Primary Schools Rugby Blitz at Ravenhill, Belfast in May.
  • P4 First Holy Communion

    On Saturday 18 May at St Anthony's Church, our P4 Religion Group made their First Holy Communion  officiated by Father Murray. There was a large crowd of family and friends watching the service and wishing the boys and girls well. Congratulations!
  • Shannagh-More Residential Trip

    Our Primary 6 boys and girls, accompanied by Mrs Phillips, Miss Johnston and Mrs Stewart travelled to Shannagh-More Outdoor Education Centre, Newcastle from 13-15 May. During their stay the children (and adults!) had opportunities to experience abseilling, rock climbing, canoeing, orienteering, the nightline and an adventure walk. Everyone had an awesome time and the children were complimented by the centre's staff on their excellent behaviour and manners!

  • K'Nex Sentinus Challenge

    On Friday 10 May two teams made up of two P7 and two P6 pupils, travelled to The Royal School, Armagh to take part in a local heat of the K'Nex Sentinus Challenge. This challenge involved a national design and build problem solving activity, organised in Northern Ireland by Sentinus, which gave the pupils an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their imagination, creativity and ingenuity by designing and constructing a model  using K'Nex Construction kits whilst working together as part of a team. The models were judged by a team of Sentinus Ambassadors.
  • P7 Confirmation

    On Wednesday 1 May at St Anthony's Church our P7 Religion Group made their Confirmation in a service attended by a large crowd of family and friends. Congratulations!
