  • Football Champions

    Fri 26 May 2017

On Friday 26th May, our boys football team competed in the Northern Ireland Middle Schools 7 a-side finals, held at Allen Park, Antrim.

In the scorching weather, the boys made it through the 6-match group stage, having won 4, drawn 1 and lost 1 game.

The subsequent semi-final saw Drumgor face St Patrick's, Donaghmore, whom they had drawn with in the group stage. A closely contested game, which included a penalty, saw Drumgor winning 2-1.

The final was against Lowood Primary, who had beaten Drumgor in the morning. The boys worked hard as a team and finished the tournament off with a 3-0 victory.

The boys' attitude on and off the field of play was commendable and they did their school proud. Well done!

  • STEM Day

    Wed 24 May 2017

Friday 19th May. Armstrong Primary School, Armagh.

Our STEM team had to design and make a vehicle to transport an egg safely down a ramp and at a high speed.

Their attempt was brilliant although they didn't get through to the final as their vehicle just touched the line.

    Well done guys.

  • Kinetic Theatre Company

    Fri 12 May 2017
On the afternoon of Friday 12th May, P1-7 were entertained by the Kinetic Theatre Company with their production of 'Robin and the Withering Wood'. As well as being very amusing, the performance taught us about food chains, plant parts and how plants receive as well as provide energy.
