  • Football Success

    Fri 20 Oct 2017

On Friday 20th October, Drumgor 3G pitch was the venue for the Mid-Ulster Schools' Football Autumn Festival. Drumgor Primary entered an A and B team and both did fantastically. Our A team progressed through their group in second place, having won two, drawn one and lost one match. They then saw off King's Park in the semi-final, before winning the final against Hart Memorial, 3-1, making them Mid Ulster victors two years in a row!

The behaviour and attitude shown from both teams on the day was a credit to the school. Well done boys and girls.

The boys and girls were shown how to safely handle sparklers- the only firework which children are allowed. Constable Gary also reminded us to be sensible when trick or treating: when crossing roads and when at people's doors.
  • Active Travel Morning

    Fri 13 Oct 2017
On Friday 13th October we kick-started our active travel programme. Children and parents who walked, cycled or scooted to school got a raffle ticket. Later that morning, a draw was made and some brilliant prizes were won. Congratulations to the lucky winners and well done to everyone who travelled actively. We must keep this up if we are to achieve our SUSTRANS Silver Award.
