Primary 7 completed 3 weeks of Gaelic football coaching today. Special thanks to coach O’Hanlon from Lismore Comprehensive School. It was throughly enjoyed by all!

Last week, our School Council and Eco Council met with members of the Board of Governors. Both the governors and the students discussed their roles in the school and answered some questions relating to their job. It was a very enjoyable meeting.
Remembrance Weekend. On Friday, P6/7S led a wonderful assembly on the meaning of Remembrance Day, and yesterday- Remembrance Sunday- two representatives from the School Council laid a wreath at Lurgan’s Cenotaph. Well done everyone.
This morning, the Lord Mayor visited us. Alongside our Eco Council, he officially opened our wonderful new garden and planted an acer tree to mark Drumgor Primary School’s 50th Anniversary.
A huge thank you to each and every person who came to the book fair this week: over £1000 was spent on books and stationery, which is phenomenal! This, in turn, has allowed each class to purchase extra books for our children.

Last year we raised over £160 and we would love this total to grow this year. All funds raised go directly into our school funds for essential resources for our pupils.
At this morning's Assembly, Mrs McKeown welcomed all of our new democratically-elected members of the Eco-Council and the School Council. Congratulations to each of them.
