  Congratulations to this term's Kidsfitzone winners. Each term the pupis fitness levels are recorded at the start of the sessions and the two pupils who improve the most are presented with these well deserved medals.

• Healthy Snack Winners

  Mrs Downing's Primary one class were the latest winners in our Health Snack Competition. Please encourage your child to bring a healthy snack each day and contribute towards their class effort.

   

  

• Red Day Friday 7th Feb

  We raised £340 on Friday 7th Februarywhen we all turned red!  The money is going to the British Heart Foundation, a very worthy cause. Thank You for this huge effort.

  

• Girl's Hockey Match

  Drumgor PS Girls' Hockey Team travelled to Newry today to play the first match of their league against Windsor Hill PS. The girls were thrilled to be playing so far away and enjoyed the game! Unfortunately they lost but the girls gained great experience and will look forward to their next matches against Poyntzpass PS, Dickson PS, Bleary PS and Donacloney PS. Thank you to Mr Flack for assisting with transport.

  

• Adopt-A-Street Programme

  Drumgor Primary School has signed up to the Craigavon Borough Council Adopt-A-Street Programme. This means that our pupils will periodically go out and collect litter from the pathways around the perimeter of the school. Primary 5/6 were the first class to help clear the litter.

   

  

• School Council Visit to Craigavon Council Chambers

  Our School Council were given the opportunity to visit Craigavon Civic Centre to meet the Mayor. They had a chance to wear his Chain of Office and were given a guided tour of the Council Chambers. The group behaved impeccably and asked The Mayor some probing questions about the future of Craigavon!

  P 6 and 7 swimming resumes on Friday 10th January 

  After-School Activities will start the week beginning 3rd February 

  P1 -P7 interviews will take place 10th - 13th February. School will close at 2pm

  Nursery Interviews will take place 24th- 28th February

  Half term : Friday 14th - Wednesday 19th February ( Wednesday is an Exceptional Closure for Staff Training)

  St. Patrick's Holiday: Monday 17th March

  Term 2 finishes Tuesday 15th April at 12.30 pm

• P1 - 3 Christmas Party

  The Friends of Drumgor helped organise a Christmas party for our P1 - 3 pupils. The older pupils had already enjoyed a Chistmas disco on Tuesday 17 December. P1 - 3 had great fun participating in a variety of games and eating party snacks.

  

• December Golden Table

  Twenty-four pupils dined in style this afternoon at 'The Golden Table.' Again this was their reward for good behaviour and helpfulness in the dinner hall during the month of December. This initiative continues to have a very positive impact in our dining hall as all the children compete for places.
