One hundred and fifty-five children took to the stage, to perform 'Hey Ewe,' on Tuesday 10 December & Wednesday 11 December. Audiences, totalling over 400, enjoyed the lively musical performances. Thank you to all our performers and to all the staff involved in making the shows so memorable.
Twenty-four pupils received their invitations to dine at 'The Golden Table' as reward for their good behaviour and helpfulness in the dinner hall during November. Well done and thank you to all our winners.
Our School Council decided to organise a Topsy Turvy dressing up day on Friday 15 November to raise funds for Children In Need. We raised the fantastic sum of £360. A big thank you to all involved. Well done!
As part of an initiative organised by Craigavon Borough Council our P7 pupils took part in an introductory fishing session held at Craigavon Lakes. By the end of the day they had caught 61 fish, but released them all back into the lake.
On Sunday 10 November two pupils from our School Council took part in the Remembrance Sunday parade in Lurgan. They laid a wreath, on behalf of the school, at the War Memorial. Today P1-7 pupils observed a 2 minute silence at 11am as part of Armistice Day.
On Tuesday 29 October Drumgor PS and Nursery were filled with lots of boys and girls in fancy dress-a HUGE thank you to all the parents and pupils for the time and effort put into these wonderful costumes! Throughout the day the children made chocolate apples, played games and took part in loads of Art & Craft activities.
Mrs Shanks and all the cooks entered into the spirit of our Halloween Fun Day and provided everyone with a 'spooktacular' lunch-the pumpkin soup was delicious! Thank you to all the ladies in white!
Two local Community PSNI officers visited the school on our Halloween Fun day to give the pupils a very important message about the dangers of fireworks and how to stay safe over Halloween. They also stayed on to enjoy our Fancy Dress parade and were very impressed with all the costumes!
