  • 3G Pitch for Drumgor Primary

    We are delighted to announce that work is due to start at the beginning of October on a 3G Synthetic Pitch to replace the school’s hardcore pitch. This venture, in collaboration with Craigavon City FC, will mean that Drumgor Primary School will be the first primary school in Northern Ireland to have a full size 3G Synthetic Pitch. Work is due to be completed in 14 weeks.
  • Science on Wheels Arrives in School

     The pupils of Primary 4 -7 really welcomed 'The Science on Wheels' Lorry on Wednesday 18th September. The sides of the lorry opened out to provide a cinema style theatre where the children watched a video and enjoyed a show about space. The children really enjoyed their 'Fly Me to the Moon' experience!
  • Gardening Club reap what they sow!

    The gardening club pictured with leeks, potatoes, cabbages, garlic, carrots and scallions which were sown last term and harvested last week. The vegetables were given to the school kitchen staff who served them up as part of the children's school meals.
  • Primary One New Arrivals

    Our new intake of Primary One children have all now started school. Today they had a visit from the Lurgan Mail photographer who took some photos for next weeks publication.
  • P1-P7 Sports Day

    Our P1-P7 pupils were not quite so lucky with the weather as the Nursery children-they had a mixture of sunshine and showers and had to run for cover once or twice! So did the grown ups! However despite the rain they still managed to run most of their races outside and have fun! Thank you to everyone who came to cheer them on.
  • Summer Disco

    On a hot, balmy Tuesday night, the Friends of Drumgor held their final 'Summer Disco' and even without a 'proper' DJ the music blasted loud, the children danced and everyone had a great time- Mrs McKeown, Miss McKeever and Mrs Stewart danced 'Gangham Style'!

    A big 'Thank You' to all the ladies from the Friends of Drumgor who make our discos possible.

  • Nursery Sports Day

    The Nursery boys and girls had great fun at their Sports Day on Wednesday 12 June. The weather was kind and mums and dads, friends and family all cheered the children on-they were super at running, bouncing and the obstacle race! Everyone was presented with a winner's medal on the podium!
  • P6 & P7 Trip to Stormont

    The Primary 6 & 7 pupils visited Parliament Buildings, Stormont on Friday 21 June. They had a chance to be involved in a debate in the magnificent chamber and then had some fun on the front lawn with a game of 'Football Rounders' before returning to school. Everyone was very impressed with Stormont!
  • Science & Technology Challenge 2013

    On Friday 24 May three pupils travelled to Dungannon TC to represent Drumgor PS in a local heat of The Primary Science & Technology Challenge 2013. The team were super and worked confidently together to complete their design challenge and were complimented on their excellent behaviour and manners- Well Done!
  • Fun Night 2013

    Even though the evening was blustery and cold, it didn't stop the boys and girls have lots of fun and laughs at our Fun Night on Thursday 23 May! Many thanks to everyone who came along on the night or bought a raffle ticket-you made the evening a success-despite the weather! Our thanks also go to our Friends of Drumgor Group who organised the evening and to all the staff who lent a hand on the night.
