• Ulster Primary Schools Mini Rugby Blitz at Ravenhill-Ulster Rugby Headquarters

  The day finally arrived on Friday 17 May for our rugby squad to travel to Ravenhill, Belfast to take part in the Ulster Primary Schools Mini Rugby Blitz.
  The sun shone down on the boys as they played matches against teams from Dickson PS, Lurgan, Fairhill PS, Dromara and Whiteabbey PS. The boys all received free t-shirts and pens, complimentary Domino's Pizza for lunch and an unexpected visit from an Ulster Rugby team player-Ruan Pienaar! Ruan chatted to the boys and signed their t-shirts and our school rugby ball. He even had time for a photocall with Miss Stevenson and Mrs Stewart!

  

• Gilpin Rugby Blitz

  Our Rugby Squad were involved in their second blitz on Thursday 2 May at PRFC. The team played progressively better with each match and became more physical and attacking in their play. They met teams from Hardy Memorial PS, Richhill, Edenderry PS, Portadown, Tandragee PS, Millington PS, Portadown and Seagoe PS, Portadown.The boys have their sights set on Ravenhill next! • Orienteering Competition 2013

  Great fun was had by our pupils from Primary 6 who were part of two teams representing Drumgor PS at the Primary Schools Orienteering Challenge held in the beautiful surroundings of Lurgan Park on Wednesday 27 February.

  Both teams found all the markers and loads of mud! They were exhausted at the finish of the challenge and glad of a rest!

  

• Environmental Youth Speak 2013

  Well done to our two P7 pupils who represented the school at the local heats of Environmental Youth Speak 2013 on Monday 25 February at Craigavon Civic Centre. The boys had to give a 3-5minute talk on the topic-' My waste's got talent: What can it become?' They did a super job and were presented with a certificate and a recycling 'goodie' bag!

  We all enjoyed a beautiful Christmas Dinner in school on Wednesday 19th December. Thank you to Mrs Shanks and all the ladies in the kitchen-it was delicious!

  Everyone really enjoyed a very special Christmas dinner on Tuesday 17 December. The meal was served to the pupils by all their teachers and classroom assistants, after crackers had been pulled.

  

• Christmas Jumper Day

  We had a great day on Friday 14th December designing our Christmas Jumpers. Thank you for all your donations towards 'Save The Children.'

  

• Congratulations Ugne!

  We have yet another winner to congratulate! This time its Ugne from Primary 7 who has just won a Northern Ireland Tesco competition. Ugne has just designed a shopping bag to be sold in Tesco stores and will be available across the province. The school was presented with a cheque for £250, Ugne received £25 and each family in the school received one of the bags with the winning design. Well done Ugne!
